We will be in touch soon (within 1-3 days) to ask a few questions about the vision, favourite flowers, colour palette and style. It is OK if you are not sure, we can help your figure out what flower types, colours, shapes, and styles you like by discussing images at our meeting.
We set a time to meet and chat about what you have in mind for your flowers. Our consultations are a complimentary part of our Brisbane service. We usually meet at a local coffee shop or at the venue so that we can discuss different options in location. We take the details and dimensions and then put together all the ideas from our meeting to create a custom proposal.
We do the planning first to give our clients the confidence to explore their ideas and options so that can make design selections that fit all their needs. We love talking about flowers, so all questions are welcome.
A proposal includes a mood board with colour palate, the seasonal flowers that you would like included in your designs, inspiration photos, floor plan and a detailed itemized fee proposal for the event.
We want you to feel confident about selecting us as your florist and we want to ensure that our proposal will deliver on your expectations for your day.
Sometimes the scope of work increases or changes along the way as plans become more solid. A revised mood board and proposal is reissued. Final decisions/changes can be made as late as 4 weeks prior to your event.
Note: Out of town consults may include a travel fee which will vary based on distance and time.
